Alan Frelix is an entrepreneur, senior executive, and strategic advisor with more than 25 years of leadership across mortgage technology, financial services, title and settlement operations, and management consulting. As Founder and CEO of The Closing Exchange, he built and scaled a technology-enabled national signing-services platform serving the mortgage, auto, insurance, and structured-settlement industries, guiding it from startup to its 2024 acquisition by Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). He then served as Director of Title Solutions at ICE through early 2026, leading the strategy, vision, and deployment of title and settlement products across the lending ecosystem.
As Managing Partner of Nexturn Management Group and an Independent Sponsor, he leads lower-middle-market acquisition initiatives and advises entrepreneurs and executives on strategy, operations, and value creation. Earlier in his career he served as President of LandSafe Services and Title & Closing Executive at Bank of America — where his leadership delivered the platform’s first profitable years and its sale to Stewart Lender Services. He also held senior executive strategy roles at Countrywide Financial and Stewart Lender Services, as well as senior management consulting roles. He holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
